This cursus is proposed on a whole day and lessons are:
- the measure of the universe: from the transit of Venus to the distance of the galaxies
- the predictions of the transits
- the calculation of the Astronomical Unit from the observation of a transit
- the history of the observations of the transits
- the other transits used for the detection of the extra solar planets
